Guy Babylon: Keyboards. Born in Maryland December 20, 1956, Guy eventually found his way on stage with the one and only, Elton John. Guy stepped on stage in 1988 and joined his forst world tour in 1989. He has since then won Grammy Awards and written for stage and screen. Bob Birch: Bass and backing vocals. Born 1956 in Detroit, MI Bob got his first Bass at age 11, among other instruments. Playing with various musicians during the 80's and into the 90's, Bob was asked to join the Elton Band by guitarist Davey Johnstone, in 1992. Bob has since been called "Mr. Perfect". Why? Davey Johnstone: Guitar, musical director, backing vocals and more. Born May 6, 1951 in Edinburgh, Scottland. At 7 years old, Davey played the violin and at 11 he got a guitar. Davey began his career in the 60's before finally recording with Elton in 1972. Except a short time during the 80's, Davey has remained Elton's guitarist and his still recording and touring with Elton and one of the original members, Nigel Olsson. John Mahon: Percussion and backing vocals. Growing up in Ohio, John eventually made his way to work with Elton John. If you go to his Official website, he often gives us a peek into various gigs, recording sessions or just beautiful scenery while touring, check it out at JohnMahon.com
Nigel Olsson: Drums and backing vocals. Born February 10, 1949 in Wallasey, Cheshire, England. Only in his teens, he got his first gig. By 17 he joined the band Plastic Penny. Even after the band broke up in 1969, Nigel kept going. Nigel first appeared on record with Elton in 1969 before becomming his touring drummer in 1970. Throughout the 70's and part of the 80's, Nigel stayed with Elton, but would return again in 2000 and has been touring and recording since.
