Bernie Taupin- Lyricist
Bernie has been Elton's lyricist for nearly 40 years. Bernie's words together with Elton's music has created a world made of love, laughter, tears and questions. In some songs, it's difficult to know where Bernie is going, but wherever it is, the listener follows along and is taken away. Congratulations Bernie and Heather! In 2005 he has gotten married to a lady named Heather and they gave birth to a beautiful girl, named Charley Indiana. In 2006 Elton and Bernie release the follow-up album to their 1975 album, Captain Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy. This new album, titled The Captain and The Kid, will document their last 30 years through words and music. This is the second album that the Elton John Band has recorded, let's hope that trend continues into the future. Thanks Bernie for all your thoughts! We have enjoyed listening to you all these years and hope to hear even more.
