Bob Halley- Director of Operations

I feel Bob Halley deserves his own section on this site, because he is important to Elton, which makes him important to us. I wish I could fill this page up with facts and information about Bob, but sadly, I can not. I am doing my best in trying to find out anything I can about him. Here is all I know so far, I wish it were more.......If anyone has anymore info about him or some pictures, please contact me.

Born November 9, 1947 (from what I am able to find). Bob has been with Elton since 1974. He started as Elton's driver, and was at one time married to a lady named Pearl, but that had ended in the years ago. Bob eventually began going with Elton on his tours  and also started doing drugs. In the 80's, the drugs became a big concern for Bob- and for Elton.  Bob started to watch over Elton more and more and be there for him when the drug use had gone bad. Elton and Bob both decided to stop the drug use, together. Elton in Chicago and Bob stayed in England in a clinic under the care of  his good friend Mrs. Everette.

Today, Bob and Elton lead a drug free life. Bob no longer lives at Woodside and no longer needs to worry about Elton 24/7. He is still there for Elton with anything he needs, but Elton is no longer dependant on Bob- and Bob is not dependant on Elton. Bob has seen Elton at his best and at his worst, and has stayed by his side when times were tough and when times were fantastic. I would imagine that Bob probably comes right back at Elton with anything he dishes out. If you look closely, you can usually see Bob near Elton at all times. He may be hiding off stage waiting for Elton, he may be in the meeting room for fans or just out of sight- hardly noticed, but he's there. He is Elton's "right hand man" so to speak. We all appreciate you Bob, thanks for being more than an employee of Elton's- you are a friend.
