David Furnish- Partner, Film Maker

David Furnish born October 26, 1962 in Canada.. He met Elton at a Halloween party in 1993. The rest is history. They have celebrated their 11 year anniversary in 2004. David is a Director/Producer and has a successful film career. He is most known for the documentary about Elton called Tantrums and Tiaras, which gives us a look at Elton as we usually don't see him. David also made the film Women Talking Dirty. There is a song on the new Peachtree Road album entitled My Elusive Drug- this song is about David. This is the first song, that we know of, that has been written about Elton and David. David's latest project is It's A Boy Girl Thing, a comedy! In December of 2005, Elton and David were joined together in a Civil Union, congratulations!

David is also a Contributing Editor for Tatler magazine. David is always going to charity events. He is very active in AIDS charities (EJAF, AmfAR and ACRIA) as well as Breast Cancer, children's benefits such as ARK, Academy and Arts such as LAMDA. David can be seen at fashion and jewelry shows, book parties, movie premiers, art galleries and awards ceremonies- just about anywhere!
